Maha is Zero Waste for the Second Year in a Row

Together we can keep lowering the festival’s footprint! You did it again. You helped Maha go zero waste for a second time! This is a massive group effort involving sustainability sponsor OPPD, Maha’s amazing volunteers, waste management partner Hillside Solutions, and everyone who made sure to use the right trash bin. Poetry at Maha Festival 2023

Experience inspiring performances from our region’s leading youth poets, including the 2023 Nebraska Youth Poet Laureate and others. Poetry performances at Maha are brought to you in collaboration with the Nebraska Writers Collective. Their All Writes Reserved program is the biggest youth spoken word poetry festival in the Midwest.
